Our UO Global Research Map project was recognized at a regional and national level by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
This was a multiphase project and quite an undertaking for a team of three (one business manager and two designers). Sheila Bong, Lindsay Kelchner and I were tasked with all aspects of production, design, and event coordination for this project.
It literally took about 6-9 months of work and coordination, but more importantly trying to get the money to fund all the pieces to this project.
I was very much involved in the design of the database, navigation, layout, and even stands for all three interactive screens. Programming was the sole effort of Ivar Vong, who did a fantastic job of creating a JS data pull from a WordPress 3 setup.
Lindsay and I also led all content coordination, editing and upload.
Thank you CASE for your recognition and I look forward to the work Nathan Pointer and I will be doing in the weeks to come to update this project and expand its content.
