From 2005-2011 worked with ASU’s Marketing and Strategic Communications Team as Multimedia Producer.
These were somewhat exploratory years in video production, social media and interactive design.
I spent a considerable amount of my time at ASU supporting the promotion and recognition of ASU Athletic programs and promoting content to the PAC-12 Network.
In my time at ASU, I also produced a considerable amount of work promoting and reporting on the university’s research, especially biology, design and engineering. Nearly a decade later, many of my videos and photos are still in use by ASU schools and colleges.
I am particularly fond of my interactions and interviews with Professor Andrew Smith and his longitudinal research on Tibetan pikas.
One of the last projects that marked my tenure at ASU, was a mini-documentary and interview with ASU alum and artist Kelsey Viola Wiskirchen, who combines storytelling, imagery and weaving into a compelling interactive experience of art, memory and transparency.
The video Handed On, went on to win under the category of Textiles in Arts and Culture in the Global Skin Contest.
